 Answers:
Are there any additional long distance or per minute charges over and above the monthly fee?
No. The monthly fee is all that you will be charged for.
How and when is my credit card charged?
Your credit card will be charged for one month of service on the day you initially sign-up. On that same day for each month thereafter, you will automatically be charged again for another month. Should you cancel your service, there is no refund for a partial month of service.
What happens if the designated Contact can not be reached?
The designated Contact should have either voice mail or an answering machine. Should the designated Contact not personally answer the call, our system will leave a message. Our system will make 1 attempt to reach the designated Contact, and if there is no answer either by voice mail, answering machine or personally, our system will disconnect. The system always sends an e-mail notice to the Contact as long as you've entered an e-mail address for that Contact.
How do I cancel my service?
Log-in using your ID and Password on our web site and you will get to your personal Home Page. When there, click on Cancel the Account on the left side of your Home Page. This will take effect the day following cancellation.
Can the Senior Profile and/or the Contact Profile phone number be a cell phone?
Yes, however bear in mind the inherent unreliability of cell phones. Due to significantly more interference on cell phone lines, voice mail detection accuracy drops to approximately 85%.
How do I make changes to my profile (change designated Contact, phone number, specific times or time window, days to be called, specific medications, etc.)?
Log-in using your ID and password on our web site and you will get to your personal Home Page. On the left side of your Home Page, click on the information you wish to change.
Are there any charges for changing my profile?
No. You may change your profile as often as you need.
When do changes in the profile take effect?
Our system updates between midnight and 3:00am every day. Any changes made before midnight will take effect the following day.
With the Medication Reminder Service, why do you not leave our loved one a message if they cannot be reached after 3 attempts?
We cannot control when or how many times your loved one may listen to the same message. As such, for safety reasons, we do not leave a message and immediately call the designated Contact.
